Is it possible to delete multiple 'Layer Effects' simultaneously?

Hello All,

Just when I was starting to get the hang of working in the Affinity apps, I had to completely pivot and tend to other things, and now that I'm trying to get back in the swing of things months later... I barely remember a thing. 😂

I'm working on a project that I created in AD a few months ago and every layer has a Layer Effect that I would like to delete from each layer - is there a simple & fast way of getting this done?

Can you be more specific, there are too many variables in your question

Isn't there an option in V2 to hide (all?) Layer Effects?

Yes, but it is not the same as deleting them.

One thing you could try is:

1. Create a layer with no Effects on it;
2. Edit → Copy;
3. Select all the other layers;
4. Edit → Paste FX;
5. As a tidy-up, delete the layer you created to copy from.

Edit > Cut in step 2 instead of Edit > Copy makes this unnecessary.
