I'm unable to move and snap shapes to curves that are inside of groups in Affinity Photo 2.2.1. Am I doing something wrong or is this not possible at all?

There may be other ways but, if you change the snapping Candidates to “Candidate List” and then select the layers in the group you want to snap to, then you should be able to snap to those layers in the group.

By doing this you basically tell the software which specific layers you want to be snapping to so it can ignore (most of) the others.

This seems to work, but it's a very slow to do it this way. I need it to snap without wasting time preselecting things. It's fine for a few shapes, but I have to do this for tens of different shapes.

Thanks. Seems like they've logged this problem, so hopefully they will fix it in an upcoming update.
