Free hand selection tool not working correctly AP 2.2.1

Hi Gang

I opened a image I have been working on and AP free hand tool does not automatically update the marching ants. I have to do a command Z and then a Shift Command Z to get the mMarching ants to update. It is both and advantage and disadvantage. I can now do multiple selections and when all are completed with the free hand tool I can then perform the Z commands as indicated above and everything updates at once. This over a lot of selection fine tuning becomes a real pain.

I am using a Wacom Intuos S table but it happens with the mouse too. I am running a MacPro, 96GB ram 12 core CPU and Ventura 13.6.1 macOS.

AP is Version 2.2.1 for Mac.

Any one have a reason for this happening and how I might fix it or is it a bug?

The same problem with 2.3.0 (2114) along with Other problems I have mentioned previously

When will be get a bug free application?

Any suggestions to fix this?

Hi spiderpod7d,

I'm unable to recreate this issue, could you perhaps try things like reinstalling/updating the intuos driver?

Are you able to recreate this with keyboard and mouse?

is there any other third party software installed/running that could be affecting this?

Hi Lee.

This issue is intermittent so I will have to try your suggestions. It does happen with the mouse also and It seems to be occurring in the latest beta as well.

Do you know if there is a size limit to Images in MPixels? The files where I am seeing this issue are rather larger scanned images?
