hlarledge Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 I've assumed for sometime that this was a bug and would be fixed eventually. Now, I'm wondering if I'm missing something since this has gone on so long. If it's me, please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I have created two Affinity Photo (Windows) presets. Both are in a category called Printify. One is for Landscape printing, and one is for Portrait printing. However, they are always syncronized. Even deleting and recreating, changing the width or height on one changes the other to match. This, of course, is not what I want. Can I fix this, or is it truly a bug? Thanks in advance for your help. Regards, HL Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 The orientation of Document Presets is controlled by the icon at the top of the list: This was an intentional change in V2, which Serif would call an improvement. Many users disagree. Old Bruce Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 I am one of the many users who disagree with this change. For the life of me I cannot figure out why this was done. Dan C Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Thanks for your report @hlarledge! As confirmed above, this is expected behaviour within Affinity V2, however this is logged with our developers to be reconsidered - as we understand some users prefer the behaviour of V1 here. I'll be sure to add your 'vote' to the internal development request regarding this. I hope this helps Quote
