In the attached Designer file, the first text is correctly aligned around the outer part of the circle. However, the second text (I pressed Enter to start this new text) is aligned around the inner part of the circle. How do I get the second text to also align on the outer part?

Unless I have misunderstood the requirements, you can delete the Paragraph Break by editing the text, putting the text selection caret at the start of the second part of the text, and pressing backspace.

If that doesn’t do what you want then we might need more information, preferably with a visual example, about what you mean by “also align on the outer part”.

As you can see from the attachment, the first text is outside the circle, while the second is inside it. The start direction and the way the text looks is correct, however, how do I get the second text to start on the outside rather than the inside as is now. I was able to do this by adjusting the baseline, but that doesn't seem like a precise method.

Ah, I see, thanks for making that clearer.

Personally I would use two different ‘text on path’ layers, one for each bit of text, maybe grouped so they can be easily moved together.

That way you have more control over what happens.

The only other way that I know of would be, as you have suggested, altering the Baseline which, as you have seen, isn’t very precise.

Hi @H.B.,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Starting from the file you posted above (first post) here's how to correctly control/align all text around the circle:

Thank you 🙂

This is helpful. I was hoping to know if there was a better way to push the text to the outside without altering the baseline as you did in the video.

Select the text and use the Character Panel's Baseline Shift to lower the baseline. Here I used -74 ( I also messed about with the Tracking, set here to 600%. You may not need or want to do that).

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
