Data Merge Layout Tool - Can I suppress decoration if certain fields are missing?

When using the data merge layout tool, I want to have a bounding box, except when certain fields are missing, I want no bounding box to appear.

Is this possible?

Unfortunately I don't believe this is possible currently - you can use the Record Advance setting to skip records in your Layout, however the bounding box for each record 'cell' will always be drawn.

I'll move this thread to the feedback section for our team to see and consider adding such an option in the future. I hope this helps
