Hello,

I built a resume in Publisher, and the exported version looks good on the surface, but if you copy and paste text from it a lot of the text gets garbled. Often, just deleting the characters "ti" when they're in a word, and a few other things.

I haven't been getting many hits from my resume, so I checked it with an ATS to see how it shows up, and it's a mess, so I copied some text over to Bear, Word, etc, and got the same result.

Hi @briandesmond and welcome to the forums,

What font are you using for your résumé?

Does it make any difference if you uncheck Subset Fonts in the Export Window when exporting to PDF?

Also, it sounds like you're having issues with ligatures, so disabling Standard Ligatures in the Typography section of the Character panel for your text may be useful. You could use a Text Style for that, or select all the text and turn it off once.
