2.1.1 update removed icons and file list from start bar-Windows 10 Home

Until the 2.1.1 upgrade, the respective icons displayed next to the program name, with a flyout triangle displaying the most recent files used. Very useful. No long available. How do I change their behavior? See iamge for current appearance. Thank you for any assistance.

Hi @dkamper,

As I understand it, this is controlled/displayed by Windows and nothing in the latest updates has changed in regards to our icons provided to the OS.

Can you please confirm for me, do you have the MSIX or EXE versions of the apps installed?

I'd recommend trying the steps outlined in the below link to reset this icon cache in Windows -
