This might not be a bug it might be just my lack of knowledge.

I have a canon R7 the Raw CR3 file loads into Affinity photo 2.2.1 and I develop it.

However my Nik collection 6.5 plugins are greyed out and they stay greyed out unless I rasterise the orignal raw.cr3 layer at which point the Nik Collection plugins work.

Why do I need to rasterise the orginal Raw.cr3 layer for the plugins to work? I thought developing the raw image made it a pixel layer in the first place?

If you are not sure that it is a bug, it is better to post a question in the Question forum. If it turns out that it really is an bug, the moderators will move the post to the Bug forum.

If your developed RAW file is in the RGB/32 (HDR) colour format then the Nik collection plugins will not work within Affinity Photo 2 and you will need to convert the image to  the RGB/16 colour format and the plugin will then be available within Photo 2.
