Some changes just mess things up. I had Dehancer working fine on Affinity Photo, up to the last version update. 2.2.1 I think it is now.

Anyway, Affinity Photo now doesn't even see the Plugin, let alone load it. It could also be the Mac OS update? Who knows, there are no error messages, it just doesn't show up in the Options, or even in the Preferences Settings window.

And there are no Plugins out there I can find that seem to work either, and I'm now spending a fortune on ON1 to find it doesn't work.

I see that Photo now has its own Plugin directory and set up, the "default" location. But nothing to put in it.

I'll keep searching....

As far as I'm aware, nothing has changed in regards to Affinity and plugins, for both update 2.2.1 and the latest macOS update - it's certainly possible that the plugin applications require an update to be compatible with the latest macOS update, but only the plugin maker could confirm this for certain.

Please see the below links for instructions regarding Dehancer and ON1 Plugins within Affinity on macOS:

Dehancer

ON1 2023

I hope this helps!
