Staff stokerg Posted November 9, 2023 Staff Posted November 9, 2023 Hi @ToledoX82, Can you attach the recording directly to the Forums or upload it directly to our Dropbox here and I'll be able to help with this Just when I click your Dropbox link, I have to authorise access for our Company Dropbox account to view the recording and while this is likely safe to do so, I'd rather not take that risk Quote
lepr Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 It's an ancient permabug that has been known to Serif for many years: an expanded stroke will be too thin when Size Variance in the stroke properties is not 100%. The closer to 0%, the greater the error in the expansion. ToledoX82 1 Quote

Old Bruce Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 @ToledoX82 you are using a brush. Only the first two brushes in the basic Pen Category will expand the stroke. Screenshot from your movie. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I'm not sure why you are bothering to state that. The video shows the expansion is happening, but the result is too skinny because of the bug I wrote about earlier in this thread. Quote

Ok, but if I have a very complex artwork I will need to draw all lines again, just because software don't expand stroke how we expect ? I don't think the issue is the brush option... Quote
