IB_ Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 When I look at a raw image in Bridge at 100% : there is sharpness (for exemple the reflects in the eyes, the texture of the skin...). Then, I open it in Affinity V2 (Develop Persona), and it is not as sharp as the raw document. Even after the development and the export. Am I missing something ? Why the file doesn't keep its quality ? Thank you for your help, as a professionnal photographer I'd really like to leave Photoshop for Affinity but I'd like to have the quality of the files as they come out of the camera. Quote
Staff stokerg Posted November 9, 2023 Staff Posted November 9, 2023 Hi @IB_and Welcome to the Forums, Which version of Bridge are you using and on which operating system? I've tried this with a RAW file I have and can't notice a difference. How do you have Bridge set up, as you can configure it to show the embedded JPG which would have been processed by the camera and would likely be sharper than the actual RAW file, due to the in camera processing. Can you upload the RAW you are using to our Dropbox here and I'll see if I get the same issue. Quote

Can you provide a screenshot with a comparison?
