Panel "Text Frame" in Affinity Photo

Hello.

It is possible to implement this Panel (Text Frame) in Affinity Photo as it is in Affinity Publisher?

Or i am looking on the wrong location in Photo?

At the moment i use a form an set a frame text on top to simulate a box but with the Panel "Text Frame" it will be much easier to create that.

My goal was to create a border around a Text and maybe a nice background colour.

I hope my English is understandable. (Not a nativ speaker  )

i attached two screenshots to show you where i looked.

The Text Frame Panel is only available in Publisher, so you are looking in the correct place, it’s just not there in Photo, by design.

If you have both Publisher and Photo (of the same versions) you can use most of the functionality of each via the different Personas of Publisher, switching Personas to use the functionalities that are available in each application.

So, for example, in this case, you can open the document in Publisher, switch to the Photo Persona, do your image processing work, switch back to the Publisher Persona to do the Text Frame work, and then switch back as necessary.

This is how Serif designed the suite so it’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
