Affinity Designer on Mac crashing after updating

Help please!

I am registered user of Designer since v1 (Mac) - till now everything worked fine. Today I decided to upgrade to tha last version and Designer started to crash anytime I launch it. I am sure Affinity will resolve in some time, but I have to deliver the work today and the last thing I want to do is to go back to Illustrator. Can anyone send me the previous installation please? The crashing version is 2.2.1 - so something before it. Many thanx, Petr.

You can download prior V2 releases from https://affinity.store/update/macos/designer/2

You'll probably need to uninstall your current version, first. And if you saved any Affinity files using 2.2.1 they won't open in anything earlier than 2.2.0.

Before reverting to a previous version, we can try and resolve this crashing behaviour in 2.2.1 - as it's much more likely to be an issue with the app on your mac specifically, rather than an issue with the app that our developers can directly fix in a future update.

Using the information in the below FAQ, can you please locate your app crash reports and attach the latest 2-3 here for me?

What exactly happens when you launch the Affinity app please? Do you see the Affinity app load, before crashing - or does the app crash before displaying anything?

Other than updating Affinity, have you made any changes to your mac recently, such as updating macOS or installing other apps?
