Can't delete multiple cross-references at once

I can't replicate this with a fresh test document and several basic cross-references, but with my long book, I can't delete multiple cross-references. If I try then I won't be able to delete any more at all.

If I open a doc with hundreds of xrefs and select some or all of them and then click Delete, Publisher will delete some of them. If I select the first 5, it deletes 3. It seems to work fine if I delete one at a time.

Once I've tried to delete several and it has failed, I will be unable to delete any more xrefs, you're stuck.

Out of interest, does this also occur in the latest beta version with this same document please?

I ask as our team have included a fix in the 2.3 beta that was causing delete not to function when selecting multiple cross references across multiple stories in Publisher, though I'm unsure if this fix is app specific, or document specific  - meaning it may not occur with a new file created in the beta, but might continue to be present in files created before this version.

Can you please upload a copy of the file that shows this issue to the below link for me?

Just to add that I'm not able to delete Cross-References at all in the current Beta even individually whether on a fresh document or using a document created in 2.2.1.

Selecting the Cross-Reference in the Cross-References Panel and selecting 'Remove Cross-Reference' shows the 'Do you wish to remove the selected cross-references? They will be converted to regular text.' message but the text is neither converted nor the Cross-Reference itself deleted from the Cross-Reference panel.

I'm unable to replicate this in the retail version (2.2.1) with a new document currently - If this is an issue with the latest beta only, please can you report this in the relevant section of the forums?

Yes, it occurs in the retail and beta versions.

This used to work during the 2.2 beta so I don't know whether something changed in the app or my document. When I started cross-referencing my Publisher manual, there was an unrelated bug with TOC anchors that led me to deleting ~100 cross-references several times. So it worked for me then but I haven't done that in a long time. I was just doing it as a test for another bug and noticed it no longer worked.

The issue "Delete cross-reference does not work across multiple stories" (REF: AF-36) has been fixed by the developers in build "2.3.0 Release".

This fix is in the current customer release.
