Mastix Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 (edited) I fhave installed Affinity photo 2 for the first time and ohh boy is it a big disappointment so far. Miles behind the Adobe Bridge / Photoshop family First of you have NO BROWSER, so I have to rely on Bridge to browse the photos I want to open. But it gets worse. Once I detect the photo/s I want to open when I try to locate with what program to open the photo Affinity Photo 2 is NOWHERE to be found on my windows machine. Usually the best practice for software is to install inside the program folder in C. Nowhere to be found affinity there. I have read in some webpages that it installs in a Folder called Windowsapps. That folder is not accessible, so i cannot select Affinity Photo 2 to open the files. How on earth could someone design such a bad software implementation. Really disappointed so far. Back to Bridge and Photoshop. Edited November 6, 2023 by Mastix HCl and Pšenda 1 1 Quote

Or, if you're lucky, the program you're using might support Windows Application Execution Aliases (which the Affinity apps provide).
