I've seen a couple of older posts regarding this topic. Just wondering if multiple pages side by side in Publisher has been added yet.

I love setting up social media carousels in Publisher and would love to be able to have all the pages side by side as that is the way it will be posted.

Thanks!

Sadly, nope.
+1 (literally) for >2-page spreads!

I'd do it with Designer (persona) artboards. You can then always edit the content in the Publisher (persona) after you've set them up in Designer if you need Publisher's advanced typography features.
You will have to delete any master pages before being able to create artboards in regular *.afpub documents. Both document modes are not compatible.
But instead of master pages, if needed, you can then use another – but similar – workflow by applying Designer's symbols instead. Under the hood, master pages, symbols, as well as Photo's "linked layers" are based on the same technology, as confirmed by Serif staff some time ago.

In other words: been there done that. :)

Welcome to the forums @gijsparadijs

An alternative to using Designer and Artboards, if the result is going to be exported to a single raster image, would be to make a single page width equal to the width of multiple pages, maybe adding vertical guides where the ‘pages’ should be to help with alignments.

Then, if you want to add more ‘pages’ to the end of the carousel you can resize the page accordingly, adding a new 'page width' to the width of the page.

Speaking of which:
Designer (persona) should then definitely be the environment of choice because it has the Pixel preview. You definitely want to work in pixel preview if you're exporting to bitmap for web use.

Publisher has that capability as well.

Ah, right. I've been with v1 for too long… :206_cat:
