MikeTO Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Many text fields allow the entry of values of up to 2,147,483,647 which is unusable and will mess up a document so perhaps it would be better to constrain these fields. For example, Flow > Keep With Next allows you to keep a paragraph with the next 2 billion lines of text while ID constrains you to 5 lines. I couldn’t find a pattern for which fields were constrained, for example, hyphenation > max consecutive is limited to 25 while other fields in the same panel section such as hyphenation > min word length were unconstrained. I did a quick scan and these fields are unconstrained: all paragraph spacing fields, tab stop, hyphenation/capital/paragraph end/column end zone and min word length fields, drop cap distance to text, initial words > count, decoration indents, stroke width, kerning, tracking, baseline offset, leading override. There are probably more.
