Many text fields allow the entry of values of up to 2,147,483,647 which is unusable and will mess up a document so perhaps it would be better to constrain these fields. For example, Flow > Keep With Next allows you to keep a paragraph with the next 2 billion lines of text while ID constrains you to 5 lines. I couldn’t find a pattern for which fields were constrained, for example, hyphenation > max consecutive is limited to 25 while other fields in the same panel section such as hyphenation > min word length were unconstrained.

I did a quick scan and these fields are unconstrained: all paragraph spacing fields, tab stop, hyphenation/capital/paragraph end/column end zone and min word length fields, drop cap distance to text, initial words > count, decoration indents, stroke width, kerning, tracking, baseline offset, leading override. There are probably more.

How big would the page need to be for that to be useful at readable point sizes?

🤔
