Background: I have several text frames in a PDF manual I downloaded from here & opened in APub V2 that no matter what I do will not left align. The PDF opened with lots of text issues like bizarre tracking settings, missing spaces between words, & so on, but I have been working through that, cleaning up & simplifying everything I can, mostly as an exercise to get more practice time with APub.

To simplify things, I copied one of these frame to this  example, removed the list attributes, set the text to Arial & tried everything I could think of to left align its ten text paragraphs but no luck.

So what am I missing?

Won't Align Left?.afpub

This is one of the weird ones. There is a negative left indent. Select a line and toggle it up and notice that the First line indent goes from 0 to something.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

The really weird thing about it for me is initially the Left Indent & First Line Indent both show as zero. It is only after changing the Left Line indent that the First Line Indent shows a non-zero value (27.851 px) in this case.

Anyway thank you very much!!! This was driving me nuts & I never would have figured it out without your help.
