Hangman Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 Steps to Recreate Create a new, one-page Publisher Document using the default master, Master A Add a text frame to Master A and add some text to the text frame Insert either a Footnote or Sidenote on Master A Page 1 updates to reflect both the added text and Footnote/Sidenote Main Text and Note Body reference number Insert a new page after Page 1 based on Master A Publisher 2.0.4 shows both the Main Text and Note Body Reference number on Page 2 Publisher 2.3.0.2096 and 2.2.1 shows the Main Text Reference number on Page 2 but not the Note Body reference number Go to Master A and delete the Footnote/Sidenote in the Main Text by clicking after the reference and hitting the backspace key Publisher 2.0.4 = No Crash Publisher 2.3.0.2096 and 2.2.1 = Instant Crash Master Page Notes Crash.mp4 Crash Report Affinity Publisher 2 Beta-2023-11-04-173330.ips Quote Affinity Designer 2.6.3 | Affinity Photo 2.6.3 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.3 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse

Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted November 14, 2023 Staff Posted November 14, 2023 The issue "Crash when deleting Notes from Master page, if pages are added after note creation" (REF: AF-1057) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2139". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
