Image order in the "film strip"

I have mentioned this problem a couple of times in the past, so here we go again.

The list of images across the top of the main window is in random order.

If one is working on a series of images, especially prior to a focus merge, it would be desirable to have those image in order taken,

rather than placed haphazardly across the page.

This area is the only place, that I can find,where images are not in a sorted order.

If you are unable to achieve this, send me the code and I will fix it for you!

Are you talking about Photo on iPad, and the „home screen“ within the app? Or about the file open UI when starting a HDR stack?

For me it seems the images are sorted on „last edited“ time, and it may take a while until documents are fe-sorted (the last edited file is not always top left right after coming back to Home Screen)

Could you please elaborate on where you are seeing this issue? From your description it is difficult to understand what you are referring to. 

If you can provide a screenshot/recording that would help point us in the right direction.

It sounds like the description of the known behavior where images Open in a seeming random order if you select a group of images to Open at the same time.
