Stop a series of dots becoming an ellipsis

Hi everyone, I am doing this thing and I have to separate the chemical compounds and quantities with dots, and Publisher replaces every three dots with ellipses, how can I stop Publisher from doing that?

In Settings (or Preferences depending on the version) select AutoCorrect & remove the correction for 3 periods to an ellipsis, probably 5th from the top of the list.
