Strange HDR stack issue

Hey all.  When I do an HDR stack with a few shots of the Moon I get an extremely noisy and over-exposed shot.  All the shots of the Moon are underexposed by 2 or 3 stops, and the sky is completely dark.  I'm trying to figure out if it's a bug or a procedural problem in how the photos are stacked.  It's never happened before, so I'm a bit confused.  Any advice on the issue is appreciated.
