Noah 79585 Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 Hi, I need to round the corners of every other row in a table (see attachment). Back in InDesign I used to work with different paragraph styles and the corner shape under 'Paragraph Shading'. It wasn't ideal, but worked. Moving to Affinity Publisher I was hoping for a better solution for this kind of table styling, but I don't even manage to come up with a workaround that doesn't involve breaking the table into individual rows or parts. Edit: I did come up with a workaround using the stroke in text style decorations, but any tips for a more straightforward approach are still very much appreciated. Quote
GarryP Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 You can do that manually with shape and text layers but I don’t think there’s a way to do it with Publisher’s existing table functionality – for example, cells don’t have a ‘corner rounding’ setting. There might be some ‘workarounds’ but they’re probably going to be more hassle than creating it manually where you have full control over what’s happening rather than relying on the ‘workaround’ to keep working. I’d be happy to be proven wrong though. Noah 79585 1 Quote

carl123 Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 It can be done just using a table (File attached) rounded-cells.afpub Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
