DinoJam Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 Hello, I've exported my book as a pdf but the pdf links aren't working as intended. The bookmark list (that shows up in side-panels) sends me to the correct spread - it lands with the anchor at the top of the page, however when clicking on TOC entries, it seems to land on the previous spread or with the anchor at the very bottom. I've been able to recreate this on different pdf viewers. I'm not sure if I've missed a checkbox somewhere when I export or something... Any ideas? Quote
MikeTO Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 Hi DinoJam, I haven't seen this issue before and I use the TOC feature a lot. Would you be able to share a test document in the forum? If not, you might need to wait for Serif to provide a private link. DinoJam Posted November 1, 2023 Author Posted November 1, 2023 I can share a small snippet of the pdf to show the issue I'm running into. If I need to share the pub file, I'd like a private link. 9.12_digital.pdf Quote
MikeTO Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Hmm, I suggest turning on Text > Interactive > Show Anchors so you can see where the anchors are in your document. The anchors generated by the TOC should be inserted at the start of the line of text but it seems from your PDF that they might be at the end of the line of text. Note that the bookmarks generated from a TOC's anchors are to a point in the text and not to a page. Your bookmarks aren't showing the bottom of the page - if you zoom in more and then click your bookmarks you'll see where clicking them is really taking you.
