Hi, trying to resolve this, I have an svg file which I need to create a window area, you can see from the file it is there but when it is exported the panel changes back to the original colour the panel was set to. Am I doing something wrong?

Is the design a vector or an raster (Pixel) image?

Is the rectangle layer set to a layer blend mode of Erase?

Hi @PhilG1234,

As you mention exporting to SVG and this is a Vector, then objects that use a blend mode will be rasterised.

You'd have to look at using the Boolean options like Subtract to make the cut out and then exporting to SVG will keep the transparency.

That’s too generic, as normal and passthrough are also blend modes. So only certain blend modes and erase is one of them.
