yulandadm Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 It would be a big help if Publisher would check for non-global colors in a document. You could have an option to exclude Black and white colors but if someone is added global colors, chances are, they are adding them to the majority of the document. When you have a document that is say 500 pages and you have to check all 500 pages for a navy so dark that it's almost black, but not, is a tad bit cumbersome. Having preflight tag those fonts and objects that are not global colors would be awesome. BBG3 and debraspicher 2 Quote
walt.farrell Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Do you really mean Global, or would (perhaps) Spot Colors be a better check? Or non-Pantone? I'm not sure how many users design complete documents like that using entirely Global colors. But if you do, that's just a different workflow than I'm used to, and a good request to make. yulandadm Posted November 1, 2023 Author Posted November 1, 2023 Yes, I mean Global colors. I set them so that when I make a template (I make digital planners), all I have to do is change the global colors, and then everything that is that color changes. Makes things so much easier when you have a 500+ page document that you need to change the colors on. walt.farrell 1 Quote
