Upgrade to V2 Universal from V1

Hello,

i use Affinity Photo and Designer, both V1 and would upgrade to V2 Universal (including Publisher). On the webpage is a special offer for V1 user, so i want to get the discount ;)

But when i follow the upgrade link i land on a page where i have to login. I onyl received the product key when i was buying Photo/Design years ago. I never created an affinity account.  Even more: The mail address which i have used in the past, to buy affinity, are not exists anymore (changed my domain).  So how can i get the discount or do i have to pay the full price?

If you received a product key, then you purchased from the Affinity Store, and you do have an account there. It would be under the old email address, of course, unless you updated the account to use your new address when you changed domains, but it would still be usable if you know the password.

If you do not know the password, I suggest you email affinity@serif.com and provide your old email address, current email address, and the email address you use here in the forums, and they may be able to help you.

Thx for the information. You are true: I checked my old mails (from 2016!) and there is the "weclome to affinity" account. I can't remember my password which i used 2016 ;)  I still have the product keys and can use v1 . So no problem with this...

I think i will buy V2 for normal price with a new account.

I would contact Serif, as the 25% discount seems worth a little effort, to me :)

If you can wait, Serif, has in the past, had discounts for that period of time

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI.
