Hello again,

I woke up to see I’m not able to maximize or minimize and I can’t see my layer panel on the interface. I’m literally a sitting duck at the moment since nothing can get done until this is fixed. Please see attached picture.

also an old Problem that keeps reoccurring on both designer and publisher, once my cursor touches or hovers on the Noto sans fonts,  the app freezes for like 30 seconds. I don’t know if it happens to just me or if someone else experienced this too.

Just a reminder: public beta releases are being deliberately released by software companies for testing purposes, not for "getting things done".
Never use any beta software if you are working on an actual project!

The majority of the Noto fonts can be disabled via Font Book app, at least on Ventura. I have now only 4 entries in the font list that cannot be disabled.
And yes, like many other (useless) system fonts that cannot be turned off, hovering over those four can still cause a spinning beachball for a few seconds until they have been loaded into memory.

Make sure to mark all fonts you intend to use frequently as your Favorites, then switch to the respective section of the menu to get Apple's rubbish out of your way.

Try Window > Zoom and see if that gives you back your panels.

I'm not sure what you mean about the menu being missing, as it's shown in your last screenshot.

Hi @Divax

I can see Walt has helped you with your original query, In regard to your other issue with the Noto fonts, we are aware of this issue and I've given the ticket a bump.

Cool, Thanks. Do you know how one can recover a file when told it can’t be opened because it’s corrupted? I’ve lost a lot of files because of this issue and always had to redo my work from scratch.

Hi @Divax

If you could post this other issue in the v2 bug forum for MacOS, someone from Technical Support should be able to assist you.
