Corsicaman
I noticed a feature was lacking (or maybe I didn't find out to enable it?). I don't know what the exact term is, but that's what I'm talking about: From what I understood, the current magnetism system only takes into account the position of the object you're moving, and all the other objects separately. It doesn't include relations between your object, and several other objects together (here I move square #3 on pixelmator but it takes into account the distance between the 2 other squares). Pixelmator has it but not Affinity? Did I do something wrong or is it something already/to-add on the roadmap?

anon1
I think what he means is something like You´v got 3 shapes 1,2,3 in line distance 1 - 2 is x when 3 is x away from 2 it should snap because of equal distances, Pages and Keynote has this as well Oval
Staff MEB Posted April 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted April 1, 2016 This is already being worked and should be available in a future update along with more snapping improvements. anon1 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference | Call for Camera Images

Staff Ben Posted April 4, 2016 Staff Share Posted April 4, 2016 It will be in 1.5, and 1.5 will be coming some time soon. About as accurate as I'm going to be for now, but the feature is almost complete and ready to go into the next big Beta. And, since we like to do things slightly better, Gaps and Spans will snap with arbitrary axis (so will work with isometric, etc).
