Hello.
I am using an PL3466WQ with 144 Hz+ nVidia 3080 on an i7 12700.

In all applications ( V 2.2.1 I have this flickering. Every movement of the mouse let the monitor flicker :(

Any tips?

Try HW Acceleration off.

Hi @meIT666,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums & sorry to hear you're having trouble!

We've seen reports of this previously and it's usually caused by either outdated GPU drivers, or G-sync.

Therefore I'd recommend ensuring that your GPU drivers are fully up-to-date, directly from Nvidias website. I'd also recommend performing a 'clean install' for these drivers, as covered here:

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-install-an-NVIDIA-Quadro-display-adapter-device-driver.html

Once these are updated, does this stop the flicker issue for you?

If not, please try disabling G-sync for the Affinity apps, using the following steps:

I hope this helps :)

Hi Dan.
Sorry, I did not called the driver version: 537.58 - pretty new I think.

The G-Sync... Nice thoughts, I tried it with the disabling for the Affinity Apps - it is getting better - but still flickering :(
I use DisplayPort with 3440x1440 @144 Hz. 8 bit color, RGB format in an SDR range.

Can I provide any more information?

There were discussions on the forum about driver problems that could only be solved by uninstalling and then installing a new driver (as Dan writes "clean install").

I personally use a very similar setup with an ASUS ROG PG278Q (though this is only 1440p) without said flickering occurring, so I don't believe this to be an incompatibility issue with your monitor.

As above, I'd recommend performing this 'clean install' with the Nvidia driver, as this can resolve unexplainable GPU behaviours.

If this still doesn't help, you can use the same section of the Nvidia Control Panel to limit the framerate of the Affinity apps.
If you set this to 60hz, does the flickering stop please?
