Favoriting fonts from Character Tab not working

Fonts can only be favorited from All, Recents or Used but not from Font Book collections. This worked fine in the latest version of v1 and thought it would be a nifty way to re-establish my favorites as they are all in a collection.

Have you checked if the favorites remain after restarting the application?

The Favs show from the Character Tab selection but not from the Text Tool and restarting removes them again.

Here on Mac OS 12.7 the various Font Book collections I have made do not allow me to add fonts to the Favourites set/collection There is a little valentine symbol but clicking it does not add that font to the Favourites. Further, the fonts that are Favourited do not show the valentine symbol being hightlighted in the Font Book Collections I have in the Character panel.

I don't actually use the Favourites functionality in any of the applications but I figure one more datum is worthwhile.
