TylerLFG Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 The new Affinity update completely messed up my 75+ page document. Text boxes are messed up. Its like there are massive invisible objects in my documents that mess up my text wrapping, which i cannot fix because technically those "objects" arent there. I tested my document on my old machine with Affinity 2.0.0, and it works fine. But then on the new update, everything is unusable. I spent a month creating this document and i fear I will have to recreate it. How can I either go back to the previous version (2.0.0), or fix this document easily? Is this a known issue? Is a patch coming? Quote
MikeTO Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Hi @TylerLFG and welcome to the forum. I'm not aware of any bug like that in the 2.2.1 update so this is likely something specific to the document. Are you able to share a sample page here for testing? I could take a look and let you know what the issue might be. If not, can you at least share a screenshot of the issue with the relevant panels open to show the formatting controls? We're certainly sorry to hear this - though I'm unsure of the exact issue you're experiencing currently as I have not seen this reported by other users since releasing 2.2.1. As above, a screen recording or screenshots showing this issue may help us to investigate further. 18 hours ago, TylerLFG said: I tested my document on my old machine with Affinity 2.0.0, and it works fine. I'd like to request a copy of the document that can be opened in 2.0.0 without issue, but shows this error within 2.2.1 - can you please upload a copy of this document here for me? If you'd like a private upload link for this file, please don't hesitate to ask. Many thanks in advance! Quote
