Synrey Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Hi all, I swapped over to Publisher from InDesign this year and while I love the Publisher experience for the most part there are definitely a few tools I miss. One of my clients has asked me to make a series of books that collate images and text from their eco-tourism ventures and the idea of manually captioning over 1200+ images 2 or 3 times isn't something I'm looking forward to doing. InDesign's captioning tool would've made this a little less painful but I was a bit surprised to learn that Publisher has nothing like this, despite it being suggested multiple times when the program was in V1. Are there any plans to add a way to pull text from image metadata even if it isn't necessarily a captioning tool? Thanks. Quote
