Golden_Cheetah Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 does anyone know how to fix this problem that has just started happening? Quote
John Rostron Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 @Golden_Cheetah Welcome to the forums. I take it that the box pops up when you first open Affinity Photo. Is this a new version or a new update? Did you get the 'Please try again in a moment' the first time it popped up? What happens when you then click on the [Activate] button? You say you have tried everything. It would help if you told us what you have tried, to avoid us telling you to try what youhave already tried. Have you tried a Reset? Hold down the Control Key when opening Affinity. I would help if you have a more informative title such a 'Licence Activation Problem'. Staff NathanC Posted October 20, 2023 Staff Posted October 20, 2023 Welcome to the forums @Golden_Cheetah, As well as trying the solution proposed in the thread Walt's linked above, If you're on Windows I would also suggest checking that you don't have either of the other two Affinity apps running and then seeing if you can activate the app. If this works after closing down the other open apps, you may have an app installation method conflict (mix of .MSI and MSIX apps), if this is the case I can provide further guidance. I'd also suggest just doing a reboot first in case one of the apps in unresponsive/stuck in the background and then trying the activation again. Quote
