Quotation Mark left/right Guillmet does not work on Macos more

I cannot use on my Mac OS Ventura

Hi @anto,

I note that you've set the keyboard shortcuts 'Option [' and 'Option ]' for Left and Right Guillemet. What do you get using those shortcuts on Ventura or is it simply that the shortcuts need to be reset after updating to 2.2.1?

Likewise, what do you get when typing the default 'Option \' and 'Shift Option \' for Left and Right Guillemet?

Which language do you have set in the Character panel is it set to Ukrainian or French?

I'm seeing the same issue using those same shortcuts regardless of the language set in the Character panel but 'Option \' and Shift Option \' are working.

At the moment I'm unsure why the shortcuts are being ignored though...

The only partial workaround I've found is to add both « and » as AutoCorrect substitutions in the Preferences panel, however, while » works well, if « is the very first character of a word 'Option ['  still types " on the first press but on the second press correctly types «.

So typing 'Option [' once I get "Text..., typing it a second time I get «"Text...

Still trying to figure out why...

Option + [ and ] seem to be shortcuts that come from the OS for single/double quotes so override any custom shortcuts they are assigned to.

An improvement would be for us to warn these are protected shortcuts when they are being assigned, which I can get logged
