If I open Publisher V2 in my Mac, the window kind of hides and I can't find any way to see it. This makes it impossible to work... I can see it in Mission Control but can't work in it since it hides and goes "out of screen" if I click on it....

Welcome to the forums @andcicco,

I would initially suggest trying the Window > 'Zoom' option along the top menu bar with the photo app open to see if that restores the app window. If it doesn't try resetting your user app defaults/windows by following the below:

  1. Close all Affinity apps
  2. Hold down CTRL and launch Photo 2 while still holding CTRL
  3. A 'Clear user data' menu will appear with 3 ticked boxes, press 'Clear' at the bottom right
  4. The app will now launch with a (hopefully) restored and functional window

There's a known issue in 2.2.0/1 with disconnecting/reconnecting an external monitor between app sessions causing the app window to disappear, do you use a Macbook/External Display(s)?

The issue "[macOS] App Window Disappears after disconnecting and re-connecting an external monitor between app sessions" (REF: AF-417) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.4.0.2211".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
