Text Panel confusion

I’m really shocked how different some of the basic functions are on iPad version of Designer. First off, why have different looking tabs/Panels?

I’m very very confused with the Text Panel [image below]. What are these extra options? What do these do?

Worst part is once you work on a text in a file on an iPad, the Letter Spacing does not react to tracking on Mac even if the spacing parameter is Zero.

Which ones do you consider "extra"? If you mean the 7 boxes on top of that studio panel, below Justification and Flow, they are the same icons used in the Context Toolbar when you have the Frame Text Tool selected on the Desktop. And they are the same ones as at the top of the Paragraph Panel on the Desktop.

What I meant were those “Minimum/Maximum/Desired” options.

I don’t remember Desktop versions having that many options just for letter spacing.

Those options are in the Paragraph panel, Justification section. They're identical options to the Mac/Windows version.

Ah... So basically they've clubbed two together. I've never had to use those in Desktop version. No wonder I never saw those options.
