MikeTO Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 (edited) In the Character panel and Context Toolbar, the list of Regular, Italic, Semibold, Semibold Italic... is referred to as Font Style as shown in the tooltips. In the Text Style panel, the same list is referred to as Font Traits as shown in the label. In the Glyph panel, the same list is unlabeled - there is no tooltip for the list, or for the Subset (Unicode block) list, but the neighbouring lock icon is labeled "Lock Font and Traits). Since a Font Style is made up of one or more Font Traits and you can't select individual traits from this list, I think it's more correct to name it Font Style. It's also what ID and XP use. Staff NathanC Posted October 19, 2023 Staff Posted October 19, 2023 Hi @MikeTO, I've now logged these inconsistencies with the developers and also made a note of the lack of the tooltip prompt in the Glyph panel, as this tooltip does prompt on Windows with 'Font Styles'. MikeTO 1 Quote
