Hi,

Can someone kindly help me fix this issue with my table of contents? My text color changes color every time I update the table of contents.

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Leotha.

Hello, @leeking,

There does seem to be a fault. The software probably takes the last value you used. Click on the element whose colour you want to impose, and force the colour into the paragraph style.

Have you tried to select all your TOC and click on the re-apply text style button, on the right of the Text style name in the Text styles panel?

I found it resolves such strange formatting issues when updating TOC. I've never understood what was happening but it does the trick for me…

(If you correct it directly by local formatting, as suggested above by @Pyanepsion, the correction will be lost if you ever update again the TOC.)

The loss of paragraph style for table of contents items was reported some time ago.
Reapplying generally doesn't work.
Forcing the paragraph style of each TOC item (and the styles they depend on) and then saving it seems to get around the bug.
