I mainly use Affinity publisher, but there are quite a few bugs in Japanese input.
Specifically, please check the following points:

1. Characters entered during conversion (space key input) during Japanese input disappear. Especially when pictographs are listed as conversion candidates, the input content disappears immediately. This trouble quite often, so I would like it to be fixed as soon as possible.

2. Paragraph width cannot be adjusted within the table. Even if I change the setting value, the characters in the upper and lower rows overlap.

The rest is not a bug, but a request.

3. The Japanese input environment is weak. I would like it to support vertical writing as well.

4. I want extensibility for Japanese fonts.

I use it as a DTP software that replaces Adobe, so I would appreciate it if you could fix the above problem.

Hi Harukael,

For your first point please could you provide steps or a screen recording that I can follow to recreate this issue. In regards to points 3 and 4 these are better posted in the Feature Requests section.

Thanks

Hi Callum

Thank you for your comment.

Please see the attached phot.

As you see, the suggestions for changes are listed, but the input characters have disappeared. No matter which option I select, character input is not completed.

Thanks.
