Hi @lena and welcome to the forums,

Questions

  1. Are you working in Affinity Designer, Photo or Publisher?
  2. Do both your images use the same colour space?
  3. Do both your images use the same colour profile?
  4. Are you able to upload a screenshot showing the issue that includes your layers panel and the colour palette?
  5. Are you able to upload both your images along with your Affinity file indicating which colour you are trying to match?

I'm working on Photo 2, trying to match colors between two images. After I've created a swatch from the source image and try to use it for the target image gradient map adjustment layer, the gradient map color picker doesn't select the colors–as if they were locked…01.pdf

Hi @lena

I may not be following your process exactly here but is this what you're fundamentally attempting to do... if not could you highlight the part that's not working for you..., i.e., is it literally not allowing you to select colours from your swatches palette when you click on the colour tablet...

Thanks for your replies. In the end the problem was in the Create Palette from Image Dialogue Box, where I'd failed to change the location for the swatch…
