Hello everybody, I wonder if there is a way to formatting text like this on CSV or XLSX:

this is Sample text.

Another question is how can put one field in more lines on CSV or XLSX

Wanted result:
text1

text2

text3

Result obtained:

text1 text2 text3

I hope I have explained myself.

I would like to thank anyone who can help me as of now.

For Data Merge the styles you created within a source CSV or XLSX file will not be imported into APub. Once you placed a field of a source in your APub layout you can assign a wanted style to the instance. It is useful to create the style as saved style in the Text Styles Panel.

The content of one cell of a source CSV or XLSX will appear in Affinity accordingly. Although a text frame width or indent/inset can force line breaks in your layout in APub you can not separate a cell content of a source CSV or XLSX in APub by additional line or paragraph breaks before generating the Data Merge. In a generated Data Merge you could use the "Find and Replace" panel to search for a certain, common pattern in all text frames and replace them with additional breaks.

Instead editing the data merged result in APub it maybe easier to edit the source CSV / XLSX before data merge. The workflow may vary with the application you use for editing.

Ok but the style is apply to all field so if I want that only one word is bold this is impossible, right?

Select the <Field> on the page with the text caret and apply your Bold Character Style to that and all should be well after the merge. We can apply any Paragraph or Character style to any field.

Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Correct as regards a merge.

If one has data where the whole sheet is displayed, I believe individually formatted words in a cell display properly. Just not in regards to APub's current merge capabilities.
