If you convert just one item to an Image object and then create duplicates of that Image object, you'll have multiple references to the one Image, which can be changed to some other image file that is in your file system.

Alternatively, try the Symbols functionality. You'll find info in the Help, but come back to this thread if you still need assistance after reading that.

I do not speak/understand the language in your movie

But if all the files in Resource Manager are the same file and they show in Resource Manager as Embedded and you can change them to Linked, you may be able to just replace/update that one linked file (outside of the Resource Manager) and all the ones in your document will update also

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

I doubt it is possible in this situation because of the previous workflow and the original state of the various pictures as independent (pixel) layers, even if they were created as layer copies.

Now they are missing a file path. Although the various pictures occur with the same look + are turned to the layer type "image" + display the same name, they are not really identical instances of 1 source but each of them is a separate, independent object. The different sizes are just an indicator, not the culprit.

Thus the "Replace" option can not be used for more than 1 item at a time and the "Relink" option would not affect all of them together.

Even if you select all items in the Resource Manager + press "Make Linked" ("Lier") the will get stored on your disk as separate files and be named individually ( _1.tiff,  _2.tiff, … etc.). This prevents them to be grouped in a folder within the Resource Manager and to get replaced all together with 1 click.

So I am afraid you would need to replace each of them individually. In Affinity we can not replace different files at the same time with one common source.
