thomasmoulson Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 Can anyone help me with what the link symbol means next to some (most) brush categories? I'm organising and creating my own categories but new categories don't have the link symbol.. does it matter? Thanks Quote
walt.farrell Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 The link symbol means the categories will appear in the other Affinity V2 applications, too. They will be linked automatically if you downloaded/installed from the Affinity Store via the Account dialog, but will have a different icon in that case. They will also be linked automatically if you Import a category and you have the application Setting (under General, Other) to Link New Content Categories. Or you can Link (or Delete) the category from the Brush panel's Settings menu (3-bars, also known as the Burger menu). thomasmoulson 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
