Xarlie Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 Same problem for me. I have tried three times and my bank account shows Affinity holding each payment of €74.99 so the debit requests are reaching my bank but it appears the fault is with Affinity. Can anyone recommend an alternative software for a similar price? Quote
Staff SFurniss Posted October 13, 2023 Staff Posted October 13, 2023 @Xarlie Welcome to the forums. I have searched our store for the email address linked to your forum account and see that your payments failed. When this happens you may see a pending transaction on your account for a few days. This should drop back into your account once your bank realises we cannot collect the payment. This is most likely due to an error in the way your browser is handling the 3d secure check that is now mandatory for all EU online orders. Here's a link to an article on our forum covering failed payments. It gives advice on various measures you can take to avoid this happening again in the future. Can I also suggest making sure you have cookies enabled for our site and that your browser is up to date, or trying again with a different browser. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/153756-payment-failed-to-process-and-its-taken-my-money-what-can-i-do/ If you have any questions, please email affinityorders@serif.com Quote
Xarlie Posted October 16, 2023 Author Posted October 16, 2023 The problem is that the three payments above are on hold by Affinity. My bank say there is nothing I can do whilst Affinity hold those funds. As there are many other people reporting the same problem and you have a pre-written advice article about this problem this would suggest it’s Affinity’s payment method that causing the problem and you should change (maybe to payment via PayPal only). when are you going to release my funds?
