Alexis Yasky Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 Hi! I've exported my file to PDF for print using the Press Ready preset in a CMYK colour space. Some images in the file are meant to be printed only in black though, so I converted them to grayscale in Photo, but upon review from the printer's pre press team they're pointing out that some of those images, though not all, have CMY values too. Does Publisher re convert grayscale images to CMYK when exported with that colour profile? Is there a way for it not to do it and respect the image's original profile upon export? Thanks for your help! Quote

Alexis Yasky Posted October 12, 2023 Author Posted October 12, 2023 Ok, looks like it will be! Thanks!! Does this apply to text boxes as well? I had the same issue on another file, even though I had made sure all text colour was 100% black. Quote
