Hi!

I've exported my file to PDF for print using the Press Ready preset in a CMYK colour space. Some images in the file are meant to be printed only in black though, so I converted them to grayscale in Photo, but upon review from the printer's pre press team they're pointing out that some of those images, though not all, have CMY values too. Does Publisher re convert grayscale images to CMYK when exported with that colour profile? Is there a way for it not to do it and respect the image's original profile upon export?

Thanks for your help!

Hi @Alexis Yasky and welcome to the forums,

The K Only option in the Publisher context toolbar is probably your friend here...
