atoms Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 Please add the option to search & replace text in Affinity Designer. It would be super useful to replace special characters. Mariusz go 1 Quote
GuyMiklos Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 I would also very much like this, please. I draw commented maps that contain thousands of symbols with several hundred comments. Keeping terminology consistent across comments is very difficult without a text search&replace function. GuyMiklos Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Thanks for this suggestion. I found in the help section: "To edit content in a different app: With content selected, from the File menu, select ... Edit in Publisher." The "edit in publisher" option in the file menu is greyed out, whether I select text of not. How would I select all the art text and all the frame text, and all the line text? It allows you to send the complete file to a different Affinity application. Required conditions: You have that other application installed; and Its release/version matches that of the application you're sending from. So, if you have 2.2 of one Affinity application installed, you cannot send to 2.1 of another application, or to 1.10 of another application. Both would need to be at 2.2.
