Cannot open a Affinity Photo File

Hello,

first excuse my bad English, but I am a German member.

Two days ago, I created a book cover with the old version of Affinty Photo. Today, I want to work on it again and ich tried to open it. That didn't work. Every time, I tried to open the file, I became the message: This file cannot be open, because it contains parts of the new version. Tell me please, what is going wrong. I saved the file correct, but cannot open it. I only have the old version from Affinity Photo and need help.

Hi Callum

Ich habe euch die Datei geschickt. Ich arbeite mit der Version 1.10.6.1665 - ich hoffe, es ist das, was du meintest - etwas anderes habe ich nicht gefunden.

Vielleicht hilft dir die Information, dass ich im August 2023 einen neuen PC kaufen musste und die aktuelle Version aufgespielt habe.

Diese Datei scheint leider beschädigt zu sein. Ich habe sie bei unseren Entwicklern protokolliert, um zu sehen, ob sie repariert werden kann, aber ich fürchte, ich kann derzeit keine Garantie für irgendetwas geben. Wenn die Datei zeitkritisch ist, würde ich empfehlen, noch einmal von vorne zu beginnen.
