As discussed here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/193036-go-to-spread-functionality-in-pages-panel-doesn’t-centre-facing-pages-spread-nicely/ (with video).

On Windows: When I use the “Go to Spread” context menu item on a spread thumbnail in the Pages Panel, the spread always seems to be centred about the left-hand page when a facing-pages spread has been selected. This is, sometimes, different to double-clicking on the spread thumbnail.

On Mac: This is apparently done a little differently with the pages being centred but not the whole spread.

Just to confirm, this has been logged with our devs as a bug - if you first select the left or right hand page from a Spread and use this option, the view is correctly centred on the selected page, however if you have the Spread itself selected then the left page is always centred incorrectly:

I hope this helps :)
